Foundation 1

These are the Norns who started it all. Specifically, it was Blueberry. Blueberry was the first Norn I downloaded, and I was immediately obsessed with his charming colour. Close to 100 Norns later, Blueberry's legacy lives on in his many offspring who I enjoy spending time with on an (almost) daily basis.

Afya   Downloads: 192   Updated: 25. Februar 2007
	Like Urchin, Afya didn't live much past her first hour. She was well fed, not cold, and didn't exhibit any infections or toxins or high drives. I'll never know what happened to her, but happily her children fared better than Urchin's; Afya is survived by two daughters sired by Goro, Xena and Rachel. Ann is my hands down, favourite Female from the Foundation 1 Line. She has 11 children, from many different sires, including 4 from Blueberry, and 3 from Tim. She eats well, carries easily, and has a perfectly nice personality. On top of all that, Ann has her amazingly beautiful colour. She has laid one set of twins, Colette and Goro. Atlanta has her good points and her bad points. On the good side, she's probably got a couple of Essex genes because her Oestrogen is always maxed out, so getting her pregnant is very easy. She has four children by Tim, but only Ramona inherited the proper colour. Her breedings to Endrik and Goro were more fruitful, with 7 out of 8 offspring coming out blue. I may try breeding her with Blueberry in the future. Now the bad points. Atlanta seems to have a severe personality disorder or compulsion; she spends 95% of her time trying to "drop", even though I've tried retraining her. Only while pregnant will she act normally. 	Ayame is a great mother, and one of Blueberry's dedicated mates. She has two children by Tim, but both sons Urou and Roberuto have no colour. Her two daughters Bertradis and Dapple and her son Baltic inherited her lovely disposition and colour, so since then Ayame has only been bred to Blueberry. Yep, this is the Norn that started it all. Meet Blueberry, quite possibly the worst possible choice of a foundation breeder I ever made. He's literally petrifed of other Norns, and tries to run away from them all the time. He becomes crowded and bored very, very easily. And I love him, despite all his faults. His kids go on to prove that even from less than perfect beginnings, great things can result. (Good mates don't hurt either!)

	Depth is yet another recent addition. She hasn't been bred yet, and will most likely be crossed with Endrik. I'm hoping any children will inherit an average between their two colours, for a nice, medium blue. DOWNLOAD: Depth can be downloaded here from The Breeding Project.

	Endrik was a late addition to PB, as I found out when I reached the Foundation 3 line I didn't have enough diversity to please me. I'm going back and breeding in more Norns, Endrik being one of them. He as three offspring, the twins Toshi and Chip and another son named Wilbert. All have Atlanta as a mother. He's another Norn I'm continuing to breed.

	Herena is a Fast Ager with Essex Genes. He father is Jenning, though I can't for the life of me remember who her mom is. She's only produced more Fast Agers and one Uncoloured Norn, so she was removed from the project. Her two daughers are Cella and Greta, and her sons are Hyro, Niichi and Quade.

Jenning is strange. He came to me through the warp, and I think he's some sort of Fast Ager or a variant. He won't age past Youth, but has maxed out Testosterone so is probably carrying Essex Genes. I only let him breed with my other Fast Agers, so technically he's not part of Project Blueberry, but Jenning is so gentle and cute I had to post him. Too bad he breeds like a rabbit; he'll probably spend the rest of his life on my hardrive.

	Ocean, a lovely little girl. If only she wasn't pose hobbled, Ocean might rival Ann as my favorite F1 female. Anyway, Ocean has four offspring, one by Blueberry, her son Chikouru, two daughters by Shoukurou (who sadly inherited their fathers fast aging genes) called Freya and Mosaic, and finally, another daughter from Tim named Wavy (also a Fast Ager). I'm considering breeding Ocean to Endrik.

Seastar is a delighful little Bruin - Bengal mix, who unfortunetly doesn't seem to breed true very well. She has three children at the moment, all from Goro: Molasses, Teka and Xandra. Xandra is the only blue among them. I'm considering crossing her with another F1 or F2 male to see if she throws better coloured offspring with a different mate. Shoukurou   Downloads: 189   Updated: 25. Februar 2007
	Shoukurou is the son of Herena and Cerulodd, two Fast Agers. He's a Fast Ager too, not surprisingly, and has two daughters by Ocean; Freya and Mosaic (both ended up as Fast Agers). Not being particularly partial to the Fallow sprites, I didn't make any futher attempts to mix Shoukurou into the program, and he's been removed.

	Tim here is one of my more sucessful attempts to integrate a Fast Ager without passing on his Fast Aging Genes. Tim has twelve offspring, one died hatching, two showed no color, five were Fast Agers, three are Blue and one is Blue/Green. Tim walks pretty fast with a choppy gait, and breeds like a rabbit, not surprising for a norn with essex genes.

Poor Urchin. This little Magma norn didn't live long, despite my best efforts. She didn't get cold at all (was she really a Magma?) and identified the Norn Meso as Home. She was pose hobbled, and limped around for a little over an hour before dying after giving birth to her second child. Both her offspring, Jodi and Xenia, died before they even hatched. I suppose that was for the best, but it still makes me sad.
